SMART HOME MARKET BECOMING A BRILLIANT OPPORTUNITY?

Dina Abdelrazik joined Parks Associates in 2016 as a part of the Consumer Analytics research team. She currently studies market trends and consumer behavior, focused in emerging technology products and services.

Dina earned her MS in Marketing, with a concentration in Marketing Analytics, from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BA in Advertising from Southern Methodist University.

Bruce Mungiguerra is Senior Vice President, Sales & Business Development at Nortek Security & Control -a global leader in smart connected devices and systems for the residential, security, access control, and digital health markers – where he is responsible for sales and business development across all channels worldwide.
Prior to NSC Mr. Mungiguerra was with MONI Smart Security, a leading provider of monitored home and business security system services to residential and commercial customers, where he served in a number of increasingly senior leadership roles, most recently as Chief Operating Officer & Senior Vice President of Operations. He was responsible for leading the company’s dealer sales organization, alarm response center and field operations division.
Before joining MONI Smart Security, Mr. Mungiguerra was with Brink’s Home Security, where he held various leadership roles including General Manager, Field Operations and Senior Manager, National Sales. Prior to entering the home security industry, Mr. Mungiguerra worked for Delta Airlines as Manager of reservation sales.

Tom Nakatani has been with ADT for 27 years holding a number of positions. His background includes Call Center Operations and Monitoring Technology, M&A/Integration, Customer Applications, Video Services, and Industry Relations.

Tom's current role encompasses ADT's core monitoring center applications and infrastructure, and as of 2017 the product teams. Tom sits on the board of PPVAR and works closely with a number of security industry associations.

Shuvankar Roy is Vice President of Xfinity Home, the total home security and home automation solution from Comcast. He leads the business operations function for Xfinity Home, specifically helping to expand its operations and deliver profitable growth.

Shuvankar is responsible for creating the overall operational strategy and leading the execution of customer-facing operations for Xfinity Home, including Subscriber growth, customer care, alarm monitoring, tools and systems, field service, business analytics and working with field partners to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

Shuvankar joined Comcast in 2013 and served as Sr. Director of Xfinity Signature Support, which offered consumers and small business owners technical help and assistance with IT services.

He has been in leadership roles since 2014, helping to establish Xfinity Home as the fastest growing home security company in Comcast's footprint. Shuvankar has been a key leader in helping to implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and growing the team to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of Xfinity Home.

Prior to joining Comcast in 2013, Shuvankar spent seventeen years working in senior executive roles in India, Germany and Canada focusing on business strategy and operations management for businesses in Manufacturing, Cable & Telecommunications and offering Premium Technical Support.
