Q: What are your day-to-day responsibilities at Security Alarm Corporation? I oversee the operations of our technicians. I schedule the service calls for the company, as well as, assist with the installation scheduling. I manage the inventory for our warehouse and assist with technical support issues.

Q: Why register for ESX? I wanted to learn about the latest products on the market and see them first hand. I would also like to network with other security professionals, as well as, attend the seminars.

Q: Have you attended ESX in the past? Yes.

Q: Are you attending with any team members? Yes, our company will be sending several employees.

Q: What are you hoping to get out of the show? I’m hoping to learn about new products and trends. I also want to learn how others are efficiently handling their service departments.

Q: What do you hope to accomplish at Security Alarm Corporation in the next year? We are looking to standardize product lines, as well as, expand into new market opportunities.

Q: What is the biggest obstacle and opportunity facing the industry? The biggest obstacle, in my opinion, would be the multiple standards in the industry — and the phasing in and out of the technology we use today. While the biggest opportunity would be the increasing release of integrated security and home control systems, the ability to have everything controlled under one platform.
