FIDI 39 Club Sporting Activity - Curling

The local Geneva Curling Hall will open exceptionally its curling tracks for the FIDI 39 Club! After a short briefing with the experts of the Geneva Curling Club, the group will e divided into smaller groups of 8 for a training session. The curling initiation will be followed by official matches where the participants will experience the technical challenges of this sport. an original and interactive activity representative of Switzerland.

FIDI Newcomers Speed Dating Event

First time at the FIDI Conference or is it your first time with a new employer? Then Speed dating breaks the ice!
Then this event has your name on it! Come and learn about the different FIDI Services offered to you through a casual, yet informative, presentation given by the FIDI Managing Director, followed by a cocktail and speed dating session.

You will have a few moment with all attendees including the FIDI Board, the FIDI Academy Dean and FIDI Office staff, so that you can get to know a few faces and help you start your networking. You will also have the opportunity to meet with members of the FIDI Focus editorial and advertising team.

FIDI Welcome Reception at Batiment des Force Motrices

To officially start the conference, FIDI is taking you to The Batiment des Forces Motrices, which will be the wonderful setting for the 2016 FIDI Welcome Reception. With rich history, going back to once being where the hydrolics of Geneva were managed, with the bars wrapped around the original tubing, this is going to prove to be not only a unique but quirky location to host of the official welcome party of the conference.

We are looking forward to bringing you some real flavours of Switzerland, through the entertainment and food stations. Definitely not an event to be missed.

Women On the Move Event - A visit to the United Nations (UN) with a keynote speaker

This year's Women On the Move will take all our female delegates to the famous United Nations where the global solutions are shaped. While the programme for the afternoon is still being determined, be assured that an inspirational speaker and cocktail is foreseen. An event for the ladies not to be missed.

FIDI Switzerland Evening

FIDI Switzerland and its representatives cordially invite all registered FIDI delegates to an evening in the beautiful Swiss countryside. Expect an event full of Swiss culture, delicious food, tasty drinks, fun entertainment and vibrant partying in unique surroundings.

Coaches will leave from the InterContinental Geneva between 17:30pm and 19:00pm.

FIDI Charity Run for Operación Sonrisa (Operation Smile) Honduras

Young or not-so-young, male or female, you can still take in the year's most exciting sports events. 

On Tuesday 12th April 2016, runners will walk or run a 5km route around Geneva to raise money for Operación Sonrisa (Operation Smile). The run will take the runners on a unique 5km route passing the most beautiful landmarks Geneva has to offer. starting from the InterContinental Geneva Hotel, diving straight into the hard of the Botanic Gardens, continuing passed the entrance of the United Nations of Geneva and the CICR (Red Cross). The route then takes you along Lake Geneva, and finishing back at the InterContinental Geneva Hotel. This year's route takes the runners through the culture, nature and landmarks of Geneva.

You don't have to run - lots of people will choose to walk the route while others will enjoy jogging. Another great networking activity with your peers, all in the name of a great cause, the eradication of cleft lips in Honduras. Giving children and adults a better start in life.
Rember it's fun, it's a great way to see Geneva and its for Operacion Sonrisa! You can register now or on the day!

FIDI Golf Tournament

Golf Club La Cote is located between Lausanne and Geneva, approximately 35 minutes from the InterContinental Geneva Hotel. The Golf Course is located on the beautiful Signal de Bougy site, the Golf Club enjoys an exceptional view and unique view over Lake Geneva and the Alps.

Offering 18 holes, par 70, and allows players on the course with a handicap of maximum 36. Why not come and enjoy a great morning of golf overlooking the famous Alps and Lake Geneva, a great way to network and work on your golf swing.
