FIDI Academy - LiM Taster Session
This year’s conference theme will be ‘Developing Leadership Skills’ with a specially developed taster session from the FIDI Academy’s LIM (Leadership in International Moving) course. With the Support of the FIDI Academy, this great teaser session has been put together especially for the FIDI 39 Club Conference.
The following industry speakers will be discussing their personal experiences
of leadership in the moving industry including lots of tips and advice for
building a successful career.

Industry Speaker 1: Paul Events from Momentous Relocation, UK
Paul Evans has been in the moving
industry for over 40 years. Currently chairman of Momentous
Relocation, UK he
is also the founder of Trans Euro and the former owner of Interdean. Paul will
share his entrepreneurial story, from starting his first moving business with
just one truck and
building it into a remarkable success. Don’t miss Paul’s business
lessons and inspiring
leadership story!
Sabine
was elected the first female President of the European Federation of Movers
Association
(FEDEMAC) earlier this year. Sabine holds many other leadership
positions including Managing
Director of Hartmann International and has over 30
years of experience in the moving industry. The FIDI
39 Club audience will
benefit from hearing Sabine share her wealth of experience and business
knowledge.

Panel Discussion - Leadership in an Intercultural Environment
After the industry speakers, three current FIDI 39 Club members will present their point of views on leadership in the intercultural environment in which we operate as International Moving companies.
The panel speakers will be:
Aulina Mithal Sood, Director at Star Worldwide Group, India
Angie Mirams, Manager Sales and Marketing at Welti-Furrer, Switzerland
Robson Granero, Executive Director, G-Inter (Granero International), Brazil
There will be a Q and A session at the end of the presentations for further discussion on the topic.
FIDI 39 Club Party at Le Chat Noir
The FIDI 39 Club party will be a fun filled event held at Le Chat Noir, a quirky bar/club located in the Carouge area of Geneva! Carouge is has a Mediterranean feel to it and is often referred to as the ‘Little Italy’ of Geneva. It has many trendy boutiques, shops and cosy cafes to visit during the day whilst also providing a unique bohemian ambiance in the evenings with many bars and nightclubs in the area.
New! Anyone attending the FIDI 39 Club conference will be awarded 500 career points by the FIDI Academy and an additional 500 career points for their company.
