AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
FIDI has not arranged any transportation to and from the airport, the delegates are to make their own way to the InterContinental Geneva Hotel (FIDI Conference hotel).
if you would like to pre-arrange transfers prior to arriving in Geneva, you have several easy options in reaching the hotel:
Option 1:
The bus number 5, stops outside the InterContinental hotel, and starts at the airport.
It is the only bus from the airport which will pass by the hotel, and then go into the city centre, and then continue onto the french boarder.
Option 2:
Book an airport transfer directly through the InterContinental Geneva Hotel (Conference hotel).
Their cars and rates are as follows:

Option 3:
Book an airport transfer directly through Ovation, FIDI's preferred local Destination Management Company (DMC).
Their vehicles and rates are as follows:

Option 4:
Take a taxi from the airport to the InterContinental Geneva Hotel. There are plenty of taxi's available at Geneva Airport. a Taxi will cost approximately 35 CHF one way.
Option 5:
The city of Geneva offers free public transportation to all its visiting tourists. You can collect your free aiport public transportation ticket, near the exit doors of the bagage claim area. It is an orange machine with a map of Geneva on it, which is right next to the train ticket machine. Just press the button and a ticket will be issued.
Once checked in at the hotel, the hotel will issue you a free public transportation ticket, which will be valid for the duration of your stay.
