This workshop will
explore innovative patient engagement strategies designed for ACOs and how
groups are navigating the challenges set forth by CMS and commercial
payers. Upon completion of this activity, participants should
be able to describe best practices for enhancing patient engagement and the
patient experience, including promoting effective communication techniques,
creating organizational culture change, developing robust patient portal
tools, incorporating shared decision-making, and improving skills in physician coaching.
