Join the FIDI golfers on the golf course, for this years 2018 FIDI Golf Tournament.

This year's golf tournament will take place at Steele Canyon Golf Club. This 27-hole golf course is the centerpiece of the 493-acre gated golf community, designed by Gary Player
with respect and appreciation for the natural beauty of the terrain. Each of the three nines offer a distinct environment and type of play for all levels of golfers, with the rugged Canyon Course’s dramatic shot presenting just the right variety of challenges and elevations.

This years golf tournament will include:
  • Transportation to and from the golf course

  • Range balls
Dress code: Collared shirts, slacks or Bermuda-length shorts of a non-denim material, soft-spiked golf shoes.

GOLF INITIATION CLASS

Are you new to golf, but always wanted to learn? Then join the FIDI Golf Initiation class!

For the first time, FIDI will be introducing a golf clinic to the programme, for all those delegates who have wanted to have a swing but aren't quite ready or fully confident to join in with the regular golfers. Looking for 2hr clinic on the fundamentals of golfing, then try out FIDI's Golf initiation. Open to all beginners.

During a 2h session, in groups of no more than 8, you will learn the basics: guided by a professional golfer, you will quickly master the art of putting, the perfect full swing, and how to get out of the treacherous sand pit.

This demonstrative and interactive class will break down the mystery of golf in easy to master "chunks", and will have you playing with the big boys in no time!

You will end your morning in the clubhouse with the rest of the golfers for an informal award ceremony, drinks and a bit to eat before heading back to the Hotel Del to carry on the conference.

Dress code: Collared shirts, slacks or Bermuda-length shorts of a non-denim material, soft-spiked golf shoes.
