Poster development guidelines
The maximum recommended poster size is 36” (inches) high (vertical) x 48” (inches) wide (horizontal) - push pin or velcro receptive only (push pins / velcro will be provided on site). Larger posters might be considered/accepted if requested by Monday, January 20, 3:00 pm EST. Please contact Daniela Nogueira, daniela@bayleygroup.com, should you wish to present a larger poster.

Posters should be easily read from a distance with large fonts, and are expected to be well-organized and professional looking. Should you require assistance with poster development and/or printing, please contact Daniela Nogueira, daniela@bayleygroup.com.


Poster Viewing Sessions
There will be two poster viewing sessions throughout the day: Research Market Place 9:30 to 10:30 am and 12:45 to 1:30 pm. Presenting authors are required to be at their posters during the specified viewing times to facilitate discussion and answer questions.


Poster Adjudication
All posters will be adjudicated at Research Day based on four criteria:
1) Quality of the research or project;
2) Significance to long term care or relevance to the theme of the research day;
3) Timeliness and usefulness of findings;
4) Clarity of the content and visual appeal.
A reception to celebrate long term care leadership and innovation will follow.


Awards
Best Student Research Award, Resident's Choice Poster Award and Delegate's Choice Poster Award  will be presented during the Closing Plenary on February 25, 5:00 pm, Plenary Room - Toronto I/II.


Abstract Publication
Abstracts will be published online at  www.oltca.com after the event (only if authors gave their consent). Authors may also be invited to submit a summary of their poster for publication in LTC Magazine.


Registration
In order to present, the presenting author will have to register. Please note that Early Bird deadline has been extended to Monday, January 20. Be sure to register by this date to take advantage of the lower rates. Click here for registration details and to register.
