In 2017, Australian Cricket introduced its five-year strategy (2017-2022). This strategy is driven by our love of the game, and our shared belief that cricket plays an important and valuable role in Australian society. Our communities are healthy when cricket is healthy.
With significant achievements both on and off the field, cricket is growing from strength to strength. Through the introduction of the Big Bash Leagues and revised junior formats, we are witnessing significant growth in girls and boy’s participation. Furthermore, aspiring women and girls, can now pursue a fully professional sporting career in our game. Cricket NSW is proud to have pioneered this through the professionalisation of our Lendlease Breakers.
Looking forward, Cricket NSW will continue to lead Australian Cricket through the three priority pillars of fans, participants and volunteers, elite players and teams.
