Who should attend NACAC’s 2016 National Conference?
Anyone in the counseling and/or admission community who would like to stay up-to-date on the industry trends. The conference brings together more than 6,000 secondary and postsecondary college admission counseling professionals to exchange ideas, learn from experts and experience the products and services that will enable them to accomplish their goals.

What is the recommended arrival airport?
Columbus is served by the Port Columbus International Airport (CMH).
How do I book meeting or event space during the National Conference?
Event organizers are required to inform NACAC's Conference and Meetings staff of the intended date/time of the event at least 30 days prior to the event and prior to booking. No organization is permitted to schedule functions (including transportation to/from the event) that conflicts with NACAC's official and published meeting and event times. To submit your event details, fill in the Events Request/Approval Form.
What is the recommended attire?
Attire at the National Conference is business casual. Wear comfortable shoes and we recommend layers; air-conditioning is difficult to regulate in large facilities, so rooms may be overly warm or cool.
Will child care be provided?
NACAC does not provide childcare services during the National Conference. Attendees requiring assistance with childcare should contact their hotel concierge.
Does the Columbus Convention Center have a Nursing Mother Station?
In order to accommodate attendees who are breastfeeding, the Columbus Convention Center maintains a lactation room for nursing mothers. The Nursing Mother Station is located It is located on the connector between the convention center and the Hyatt. The onsite lactation room provides privacy and may be accessed at any time.

What is included in my registration fee?
Registration for the National Conference includes all educational sessions and learning lounge sessions, our welcome reception, the opening general session with the keynote speaker, first timers’ orientation, access to the exhibit hall, the Access College Fair, the Counselors’ College Fair, and a ticket to the Conference Social.
Do I have to register for individual sessions?
No. Educational sessions are open to all registered conference attendees. We will allow admittance until the rooms are full, so seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. To ensure you are able to attend the sessions you want, please arrive early.
Preconference Seminars and Preconference Workshops do require registration at an additional cost.

How do I make a hotel reservation?
You must be a registered attendee, paid in full, in order to book housing in the NACAC block. A link to access the housing system will be included in your conference confirmation email. Housing reservations received without corresponding conference registrations will be canceled.
How do I contact the housing bureau for questions about my hotel reservation?
If you have any questions throughout the housing reservation process, please contact Experient's customer service toll free at 800/967-8852 or email nacac@experient-inc.com. International residents can call 847/996-8852.
