Located on Avenida de América, Hotel Puerta America is only five minutes from the Neighbourhood of Salamanca (business and shopping area), it is very well connected with the airport and IFEMA fairgrounds.
Transportation to and from the airport
Following are the transportation options:
- Taxi which would take approximately 15 minutes to the hotel, fixed rate €30.
- Metro
To go through Metro (the subway company in Madrid) has a frequent and comfortable method to move around Madrid. To reach the hotel from the airport you must:
- Take Line 8 to Nuevos Ministerios
- Change trains to Line 6 to Avenida de America
- Change trains to Line 7 to Cartagena (closest station to the hotel).

- Shuttle bus from hotel Puerta America
The Hotel offers complimentary “shuttle” service from the Hotel to Madrid Barajas Airport and the city center.
The journey is on both directions (to/from) and runs from 07:00h to 21:00h every day of the year.
The airport pick-up service is subject to availability, depending on the number of seats and the time table. Advance reservations through our Front Desk Department are recommended to avoid disappointment. Please contact us indicating the number of persons, the flight number and the airport terminal where you disembark.
