Chris is the senior hydro engineer and director of WRE Ltd based in South Devon. WRE is a company focussed on the micro hydro sector primarily in England and Wales, carrying out design and installation work for low and high head schemes. Chris founded the business in 2005, based on Dartmoor, to design and install small hydropower systems for clients. Since then the company has grown to be one of the main design companies working in the micro-hydro sector. Chris has had an involvement in industry wide processes such as the EA Good Practice Guide review, MCS panel and has represented the hydro industry to various conservation, preservation and angling bodies.
