Chris is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and of the Institution of Civil Engineers. Chris has a breadth of knowledge and expertise in hydropower built up over many years working in the industry. Chris is a Director and board member of the BHA. Recruited into the hydropower family whilst working for GILKES he travelled widely picking up techniques in hydropower development from a wide variety of sources. Transitioning into a civil engineering consultancy practice in 2006 further developed Chris’ knowledge and understanding of hydropower systems. Earlier this year Chris established Hydro Survey Limited as an independent hydropower consultancy and is on a mission to make hydropower more affordable, practicable and as stress free as is possible for land owners and community organisations. Offering services from Concept to Completion Hydro Survey Limited will either manage your project for you or guide you on your journey.
