MARTA

Atlanta's public transit system can be taken from Ground transportation inside the airport. From the airport to the InterContinental: Take the RED line north to the Buckhead station. The InterContinental is located two blocks north of the train station. The fee is $3.50 (one-way).

TAXIS to and from the Airport

Taxis have a flat Airport fare from the Airport to the Buckhead Area or vice versa.
The cost is $44.00 for two person and $2.00 for each additional passenger.
From the hotel, the Doorman facilitates all taxis.
The InterContinental has taxis posted at curbside daily.
The approximate time to the Airport from the InterContinental is 30 to 35 minutes.
Please keep in mind Weather Conditions, Traffic Delays and Peak traffic times.
Most Taxis will take Credit Cards.

Private Sedan Service

The InterContinental offers a Private Sedan Service which can be arranged through the Concierge Desk at the rate of $98.83, including tax a gratuity. This service is provided by their preferred vendor Atlantic Limousine, Inc. Direct billing to your room bill can be arranged or you can bill to a credit card.
Hotel Guest will be met at the Top of The Baggage Claim Escalator. (American Airlines guest will be met at baggage claim). The Chauffeur will be standing with a sign with the guest name on it.

SuperShuttle provides transportation to and from the Airport. SuperShuttle will stop at the InterContinental Hotel (only on a 24 hour reservation basis). The shuttle starts at 6am to 2am daily by reservations only. The Cost is $20.50 One Way or $37.00 Round Trip (by internet) and $22.50 One Way or $41.00 Round Trip (by phone). Guest should plan on departing 2 ½ hours before their domestic airline departure and 3 hours for International flights.
