Trajectory Planning in Petrel

The Trajectory Planning module allows users to create robust multi-plan scenarios within a 3D environment. Multidisciplinary experts can collaborate effectively by designing wells entirely within a shared earth model. Applying the latest anti-collision tools, no go zones can be calculated for offsets wells, from well head to depth. Applying offset risk analysis and real-time capabilities to a shared earth model promotes Petrel as a powerful platform for rapid decision making.
The aim of this session is to demonstrate Well design and positioning functionalities in Petrel. Familiarise users with the collaborative well planning tools – from well design to real time.
