Wellbeing in the workplace

Revitalise your workforce by enhancing wellbeing

If you asked a room of people to say what they mean by 'wellbeing', you could guarantee that everyone would have a different, personal definition.

Wellbeing has become the workplace buzzword of 2016, and is a concept which is only going to grow in traction and popularity into 2017.

But with every employer – and every one of their employees – having their personal definition of what it really means, how can UK companies build effective strategies?

Wellbeing in the Workplace is pulling together all the different strands of wellness to create a picture of what an effective strategy could include.

Whatever your wellbeing focus, our case studies and expert speakers will give you an insight into creating a strategy that will meet the needs (and definitions!) of all your workforce.

John Timpson will be opening the day with a keynote presentation on how he has created a business culture that make his colleagues feel valued and happy, while case studies throughout the day will examine all areas of wellbeing – from mental and physical to financial – and ask how a holistic strategy can be created on a budget.

Panel discussions will also focus on the conversations around what health products are best for your workforce and how to be both cost effective and practical.

And closing on a positive note, Shaun Davis, group director of safety, health, and wellbeing, Royal Mail Group, will examine a productive and sensitive approach to mental health.

*The event is free to attend for HR and reward managers/directors and for finance managers/directors involved in reward strategy. Free places will be allocated at the discretion of the organiser.

We look forward to you joining us in Manchester in September!

About REWARD

Reward is an award-winning brand for HR directors of mid-sized UK businesses (c.250-3000 employees). Its objective is to provide HR directors with responsibility for reward with practical information they can use to form a reward and employee benefits strategy – in print, online, through research and at events.

In its first year (2013) Reward won the Towers Watson HR Journalism Award for Print Publication of the Year. It was also shortlisted in that year for the British Media Awards for Best New Launch.

Reward follows in the footsteps of other successful new business launches in the reward sector from Newsquest Specialist Media, including Engaged Investor, an educational magazine dedicated to pension fund trustees, and Pensions Insight, a unique monthly digest for pensions professionals.
