With migration from the reliable circuit-switched networks to 3G / LTE’s new all-IP evolved packet core (ePC), it is critical and challenging to monitor, assure and optimize RAN performance. Nokia products are equipped with tools for measuring and collecting all kinds of performance and accounting data (KPIs) for IP RAN. It is important to use the right set of tools for data collection (and visualization) for a better scalability and for an efficient use of the network resources. This workshop will focus on to discuss the use cases such as circuit performance (latency, jitter, packet loss), QoS assessment, capacity and traffic analysis.
