HASAN SARIKAYA |

Hasan Sarikaya holds an M.Sc degree in petroleum geology from The University of Texas at
Austin Jackson School of Geosciences, Austin, Texas, and a
PhD from Middle East Technical University. In 2006, he studied at Harvard
University as a research scholar in the Department of Earth and Planetary
Sciences, Structural Geology and Tectonics Group. He has been
working as a geoscientist in the oil and gas industry since 2003. He started
his career at Turkish Petroleum (TP), then joined Schlumberger Global Company. He
is recently working as acting District Manager and Joint Ventures Manager at
TP. He has been involved in the various projects including Southeastern Turkey,
Middle East, and South America. He has been an active member of American
Association of Petroleum Geologists for over 16 years. He also served as Secretary
in 2003 and as Vice President since 2012 at the Turkish Association of
Petroleum Geologists (TAPG).
