Just how stressful is business travel?
If work-related stress is a "21st-century disease", as the International Labour Organisation puts it, what happens when a busy travel schedule is added to the equation? CWT surveyed 6,000 business travellers and found that people travelling for work can lose up to 6.9 hours on a trip due to stress, meaning that they used that time for neither work nor rest. Exposure to new environments, security incidents, medical or mental health conditions and even just being too far from home can impact a mobile workforce. These events can trigger anxiety and psychological issues. Join International SOS as they discuss mental and emotional well-being of a mobile workforce.
