Plenary: “Working together - Why collaborating with consumer organisations makes sense”

In her current position as CEO of PANDA - Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia, Terri Smith, is committed to ensuring the provision of high quality effective health services which are actively informed by the experiences of those with a lived experience of perinatal anxiety and depression. She is also committed to ensuring the community is aware of the enormous impact of perinatal depression and anxiety knowing that awareness decreases stigma and helps people seek help earlier.

Terri has a long history of managing health promotion and clinical health services including her role as Director Client Services in a community health service and Deputy CEO of Breast Cancer Network Australia. Terri's qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts Post Graduate Diploma Community Development and Master of Social Sciences. Terri is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
