Mother Baby Unit Tours

Melbourne is a world leader in its provision of Mother Baby units to service the population of Victoria (nearly six million) with its 62,000 annual births. There are three Mother Baby units: Monash in the south, Austin in the northeast and Werribee in the west, each with six beds for mothers and six beds for babies and the capacity for fathers to stay or be admitted.

As part of the conference program, two of these sites will run tours where there will be the opportunity to see the programs in action and meet with staff and patients to discuss their internationally unique model of care.

Masada Mother Baby Unit:

Depart Pullman Hotel: 8:30am

Masada Tour: 9:00-11:30am

Arrive Pullman Hotel: 12:00pm

Cost $60.00 (includes bus transfer)

Werribee Mercy Mother Baby Unit:

Depart Pullman Hotel: 8.45am

Werribee Mercy Tour: 9:30-12:00pm

Lunch at Werribee Mansion: 12:15-1:30pm

Arrive Pullman Hotel: 2:15pm

Cost $130.00 (includes bus transfer and lunch)

Lunch: includes a two course meal, and a glass of wine.
