AMEE Glasgow 2015 - Tours
During the AMEE 2015 Conference, there will be a number of tours available in and around Glasgow. You will have the opportunity to book tickets for the tours during your registration and at the Tours Desk onsite in Glasgow, subject to availability. Guest tickets are also available.
We have tried to provide an interesting and varied tour programme in Glasgow, offering a variety of half-day, full-day and also an evening dinner, enabling you to combine your conference sessions with an overview of the city! Please see below for further details.
If you are travelling with a large group of colleagues, there is also the possibility to book a private group tour. Minimum numbers of 20 people apply per guide. If one of the tours below interests you and you would like to make a booking for 20+ guests, then please contact Maria Jones at tours@worldspan.co.uk with your requirements, providing your preferred date, time and number of guests for the tour. We may also be able to offer these private tours in your preferred language (subject to availability).
Guests are able to participate in tours without the main delegate being in attendance. Our aim is to make your guests' stay equally as enjoyable as your own, so whilst you are planning your conference sessions, why not look at booking tours for your guests.

Tours
Please note that tour places can be held without charge until 31st July 2015. After this date, any places on tours that have not been paid for will be released and offered up for general sale again.
You will still be able to book tours after 31st July 2015, dependent on tour availability, however they will need to be paid for at time of booking.
All tours cancelled after 31st July 2015 are non-refundable and will incur a 100% cancellation charge, however if cancellation is due to a conflict with the conference programme, claims for a refund will be looked at on an individual basis. Should minimum numbers not be reached for any tour, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case you will be informed immediately by email and provided with a full refund or alternative options.
Any remaining places on tours can be booked from the Tours Desk during the conference, however we would advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.
You will be able to see from your registration record which tours you have booked. Tour vouchers detailing joining instructions will be issued via email approximately one month prior to the AMEE Conference. You will be required to print off and present your tour voucher at the Tour Desk in order to join the Tour.
