Edinburgh City Tour
On arrival in Edinburgh, you will take a panoramic coach tour around the city with a full commentary from a local Blue Badge guide. You will be shown the contrasts between the Medieval Old Town and the classical Georgian New Town, pass by local attractions such as Robert Louis Stevenson's house, the Royal Mile and St Giles Cathedral and make a couple of stops for photographs.
The tour will end at Edinburgh Castle where you will have a private guided tour, followed by free time to wander around the castle and have lunch. Your guide will be able to recommend a selection of suitable eating places.
Following lunch, you will be transferred to Holyrood Palace, the official state residence of the British Royal Family when in Scotland. The palace was once the residence of Mary, Queen of Scots, and the location of the famous murder of her Italian secretary, Rizzio.
