2017 Young Farmer Leadership Conference

YOUNG FARMER
LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
COVINGTON, KY

JANUARY 20-21, 2017

The 2017 Young Farmer Leadership Conference is designed to better enable young farmers to effectively advocate for Kentucky agriculture as they expand county Farm Bureau programs and activities. Additionally, attendees will benefit from informative and interactive workshops including farm business management, farm safety, estate planning, agricultural advocacy and industry updates. As with all KFB Young Farmer Conferences, participants will be inspired and encouraged by a notable group of keynote, general session and workshop presenters. In addition, we have made arrangements for a few unique family activities in the Northern Kentucky area. An off-site program is being planned for Friday evening at the famous Drees Pavilion in Devou Park. The night will be filled with great entertainment and excellent food, which will include a live auction benefiting the Kentucky Farm Bureau Young Farmer Scholarship program. The conference will conclude Saturday evening with a trip to Perfect North Slopes which is the premier ski area in the Midwest with 5 chair lifts, 7 carpet lifts, 22 trails and 2 terrain parks.

Participants will enjoy an exceptional atmosphere at the Four Diamond, Award Winning Marriott RiverCenter hotel near downtown Cincinnati where convenience meets relaxation. Located on the banks of the Ohio River, this luxurious Covington, Kentucky hotel boasts deluxe guest room accommodations featuring stunning skyline views of Downtown Cincinnati. The hotel is conveniently located just off Interstate-75.

Conference registration and hotel arrangements must be made online at kyfb.com/yfwinter. The conference registration fee on or before Tuesday, December 13, 2016, is $140.00/adult and $80/child (ages 2-12). Afterwards, registration will be available at $160/adult and $90/child. Participants may register onsite, but hotel availability at the negotiated room rate of $125 (plus tax) cannot be guaranteed after Tuesday, December 27, 2016, which is also the online registration deadline.
