TRAVEL TIPS

For international flights please plan to arrive at the airport three (3) hours prior to your flight’s scheduled departure time. Also, be sure to call your airline before leaving home to reconfirm your flight’s departure time.

A passport valid for at least six months AFTER your return flight is required to enter the United States and to return back to your home country, so be sure to take yours along with you! If you don’t have a passport, apply for one NOW. Please refer to the passport information page of this website for details.

AIRPORT SECURITY UPDATE
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has strict guidelines regarding the security screening procedures for flights. As of this writing, passengers will only be permitted to carry three (3) ounce containers of liquids, gels and lotions past the security checkpoints in their carry-on luggage. Travel-size toiletries (three ounces or less) must be placed in a clear plastic, one quart-size, zip-top bag. You will be asked to place the plastic bag separately on the X-ray conveyor belt. Larger containers of liquids may be packed in your checked luggage.

Please note: a few exceptions to this rule apply and include diabetic glucose medications such as insulin, and prescription liquid medications labeled with a name that matches the passenger’s ticket. These items must be declared to the transportation security officers at the security checkpoint. Beverages and other items purchased in the secure boarding area may now be brought onto the aircraft.

Of course, security measures may change between now and the time we depart for the United States, so we suggest that you click here to visit the TSA Web site prior to our European Partner Incentive Trip for the most up-to-date travel information.

WHAT TO PACK
Plan to dress in layers for San Francisco. The average high temperature for March in San Francisco is 16C (61F) and the average low is 9C (49F). Bring a jacket to wear at night and one day we plan a short boat ride on the bay. For Las Vegas the average high temperature for March is 20C (69F) and the average low is 6C (44F). Once again plan to dress in layers as the mornings and evenings may be cool and the afternoons warm. Be sure to bring a hat, a pair of sunglasses, and sunblock and you will want to remember to pack your bathing suit.

Business Casual will be the attire for all the evening dinners. During the day, dress casually while you explore San Francisco and Las Vegas. More detailed travel tips will be sent to you along with your e-ticket receipts several weeks prior to our departure for the United States.

Medication
If you take medication for health related problems it is advised that you bring them with you on the trip. It may be difficult to obtain necessary medication in the U.S. if they are needed.
