Building trust and rapport needs a special set of skills. David will demonstrate the power of story and storytelling as a critical tool for individuals to better understand each other. These skills are able to be used with residents/ consumers, colleagues and stakeholders.
This highly interactive workshop is designed to teach participants to:
- employ the power of story and storytelling
- encourage resident/ consumers to talk about their hopes, fears, dreams, and
- empower residents/ consumers in their decision making about their needs and goals in relation to care and support.
