Bruce is the national head of RSM Bird Cameron’s Aged Care Advisory Division. Having been active participants in the conversation around Living Longer Living Better policy their particular focus is on helping providers evaluate and implement business models that are both flexible and appropriate to the changing aged care environment. The firm has provided briefings on the implications of the Productivity Commission Inquiry and made contributions on the proposed definition of substantial refurbishment and the pricing guidelines. Recently launched the ProviderPro Program, an integrated education and advice solution that provides a guide to navigating accommodation charges under the new legislation. The program includes a pricing model allowing operators to ensure they will be no worse off under the new accommodation charges regime. This program has gained wide industry acceptance. Bruce is a regular presenter at State and National industry forums.

She has been working for BCS since 2006 and is currently Dementia Consultant & Project Manager in the Care Development Unit of the Home Care Division. Prior to that she was employed by Alzheimer’s Australia NSW as Dementia Education Consultant for five years where she led the Remote Access Dementia Education project, and worked on the Carer Education Workforce Training project. Maria a Senior Evaluation Officer at AlzNSW, has worked on a number of dementia-specific program evaluations, was a senior evaluator working at BCS on the Australasian Evaluation Society (AES) award winning CPV study, is a qualified social worker and member of the AES, and has a strong passion for consumer/client-led evaluations contributing to improvements in service delivery and program design.
