2014 MANAGER OF THE YEAR AWARD

THE AWARD

Nominations have now closed. Industry response has been of high quality and volume. The award celebrates the outstanding retirement village of 2014. The purpose of the award is to recognise the village manager, staff and residents who work towards the ultimate goal of a successful, happy and harmonious village.

This pinnacle award of the industry identifies the excellence of a distinguished retirement village community.

ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES

Nominations can be accepted from any person who has had dealings with eligible entrants. These are exceptional village managers that practice outstanding commitment to their residents.

THE WINNER

Through the Manager of the Year Award the Property Council of Australia gives due credit to the distinguished nominees that go above and beyond for their staff and residents.

NOMINATION PROCESS

There is a winner for each of the following regions: NSW/ACT, SA/NT, QLD, VIC/TAS and WA. The state winners will be announced at various Property Council retirement living events from August to October. The (five) State winners are in the running for the 2014 National Manager of the Year Award. The national winner will be unveiled at this largest industry event, the 2014 National Retirement Living Summit, 19-20 November, in Sydney.

JUDGING PROCESS

Round 1 – Judges evaluate all nominations, from which they identify the semi-finalists.

Round 2 – Judges interview each of the semi-finalists.

Round 3 – Judges meet in Melbourne, to determine the winners of 2014.
