About the MBA CSC and the Global Conference

The 2013 MBA Career Services Council (MBA CSC) Global Conference is the premier conference addressing challenges and innovations in MBA career management and recruiting. As the professional association for MBA career services and recruiting, the MBA CSC brings together hundreds of career development and recruiting professionals interested in learning and discussing industry trends and issues in the MBA recruiting field. MBA CSC and the 2013 Global Conference are designed to:
  • Introduce members to career services and recruitment vendors and resources.
  • Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and address issues unique to the needs of MBA career services and recruiting professionals.

Benefits of Sponsorships/Exhibitors

Sponsors: Conference sponsors receive substantial visibility and one-on-one time with conference participants. Sponsorship will allow you to reinforce your company’s name and message as a leader in your field and the best resource for participants’ needs. Sponsors are also automatically given an exhibitor package if they choose to have one.

There are a variety of sponsorship levels. We will work with you to design a sponsorship package that is high impact and drives ROI.
 
Exhibitors: Snack/drink breaks will take place in the exhibitor area, and the exhibitor area is centrally located, so traffic is frequently driven toward your booth. Participants are encouraged to visit all exhibitor booths as part of a door prize competition at which conference attendees who visit every booth are entered in a drawing for various prizes. Finally, each exhibitor will get the opportunity to send a targeted email (you design, we send) to all conference attendees highlighting your product or service. *Please note: The targeted email messages might be combined, depending upon the number of submissions and the timing before the conference.

The Diplomat Sponsorship Packages (11 options to choose from - 4 sold) gives companies the ability to pick a specific event or conference item to sponsor. Among the options are:
  • Recognition as a Break Sponsor (4) or as a breakfast co-sponsor (4) (one sold)

  • Recognition as the New Member Orientation Sponsor (SOLD)

  • Hotel room co-branded key sponsorship - your ad or logo (along with MBA CSC at the bottom) on all conference attendees’ room keys at the host hotel (SOLD)

  • Conference mobile/smartphone app sponsorship - your ad or logo branded on the mobile app available for download by all conference attendees. Last year, over 300 people downloaded the app for on-site information and schedule. (SOLD)

Exhibitor Package: $2,000 for members and $2,300 for non-members (includes one affiliate membership)
Exhibitor packages are limited, and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Participation in the attendee competition for registration door prize drawing.

  • $250 discount on Distribution of Advertising Materials in registration packets.

  • Early registration bonus (if registered and paid by March 31):
    • Logo in conference program.
    • 50 word company description and URL in program (must submit 50-word description and logo in vector format by April 1).
    •  Inclusion in sponsor preview e-mail sent to all MBA CSC members prior to conference.

A La Carte Sponsorships - A la carte add-ons are available only to registered Sponsors and Exhibitors.
  • Bag Stuffer/Distribution of Advertising Materials: $1,200 - provide a branded single item, booklet or packet to be added to all attendees bags at registration (items must be shipped to hotel to arrive the weekend prior to the conference).
  • Vendor showcase: $750 - participate in a 25-minute demo of your product/service to conference attendees. Room and AV will be provided, along with advertising in the conference program.
  • One Full Page Advertisement in Conference Program: $1,000.
  • One ½ Page Advertisement in Conference Program: $750.
  • One ¼ Page Advertisement in Conference Program: $500.
Exhibitor and Sponsorship Notices and Details
Registration Fee
Sponsorship and Exhibitor packages include full registration for a specified number of attendees, based on the package. Additional attendees must pay for the entire conference in order to attend any part of it. One-day conference registrations are not available.

Deadline
Sponsorship submissions deadline extended to May 31st, depending on availability and program deadlines. All exhibitor only submissions deadline extended to May 31st, depending on availability. Advertising and logos deadline may end earlier, depending on printing schedule.

Cancellation Policy
Exhibitors who cancel on or before May 20, 2013 will receive an 75% refund of the fees paid. No refunds will be made after May 20.

Company Logo Deadline
All packages include your company’s logo in the conference program, provided registration, along with the logo upload, occurs before April 19th.  Registrations received after April 19th will be listed in an addendum to all attendees.

Shipping Exhibit Materials
All vendors will receive shipping instructions closer to the conference.

Advertisement Deadline
If you purchase advertisement space in the conference program, MBA CSC must receive your advertisement via e-mail no later than April 19th, 2013.

Advertisement and Logo Specifications
Advertisement specifications are subject to change prior to publication, but past terms are below. Any changes to the below will be communicated to all affected parties.

Ad copy must be photo ready at 300 dpi at 100%. The ¼ page ad cannot measure more than 2.5 x 3.5 inches, the ½ page ad cannot measure more than 5 x 7 inches and a full-page ad not more than 7 x 10 inches. Final copy of full page ads will be on an 8.5 x 11 inch page with vertical copy. All logos will be adjusted by size to fit uniformly on 8.5 x 11 sponsor pages.
