Bio
Katrina is responsible for communicating the value of Alcatel-Lucent’s CSR and sustainability programs internally with emphasis on operations and business strategy. In addition, Katrina raises the Company’s profile externally, by communicating its contributions to the ICT industry’s efforts to enable other sectors to reduce their carbon footprint.

Previously, Katrina was the Executive Director of GeSI, the Global e-Sustainability Initiative, a non-profit trade association of leading ICT companies, including Alcatel-Lucent. At GeSI, she was responsible for managing GeSI's communications activities, press inquiries and working group activities (supply chain, climate change, e-waste and the EU ICT Policy Forum, and EU funded research projects on smart grids and transportation initiatives).

Katrina holds a Master of Arts degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California Polytechnic State University. She is a published author on Corporate Social Responsibility issues (electronics recycling, climate change negotiations and e-skills), a member of the communications committee at American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) Belgium.
