77th Plenary Meeting of the ICAC
New Registration
General Information

The 77th Plenary Meeting will be held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, 2-6 December, 2018, at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire. The theme of this year's event is "Cotton Challenges: Smart and Sustainable Solutions," and will address critical topics such as the potential impacts of climate change, rapidly increasing microfibre pollution, innovative new technologies from throughout the value chain, and insights from some of the world's top cotton researchers.

Unlike other industry events, ICAC’s Plenary Meetings are specifically designed to provide actionable recommendations to help governments formulate policy that benefits the hundreds of millions of people around the world who depend on cotton for their livelihood.

At the conclusion of the meeting, attendees have the option of going on one of several technical tours that have been arranged for those who want to take a closer look at Côte d’Ivoire’s cotton industry and other attractions.

The country's currency is the CFA Franc (XOF). You can exchange currencies, including dollars ($) and euros (€), at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Airport in Abidjan upon arrival as well as at banks and money changers located throughout the city.

All attendees must register. Registration fees are specified. Official members of ICAC delegations are exempt from these registration fees. The delegate list will be communicated to the ICAC Secretariat prior to the meeting. Badges will be available on-site at the ICAC Secretariat registration office at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire.
