77th Plenary Meeting of the ICAC
Technical Tour 3

Another facet of agriculture and tourist attractions in Côte d’Ivoire
(Organiser: Capital Connect)

The diversity of the land and climate in Côte d’Ivoire gives it enormous potential to diversify its agriculture. The northern part of the country has developed crops such as cotton, cashews, sugar cane, mango and shea. As for the south of the country, cocoa, coffee, cola, rubber, bananas, and pineapple are the most important sources of agricultural income. The third technical tour is designed to present the diversity of Ivorian agriculture to its guests.

The landscape and tourist attractions of this part of the Ivorian territory are unique, and Assinie is the banner of this seaside tourism. Located in West Africa, Côte d’Ivoire enjoys a very enviable geographical location. It features many beaches renowned in all of the surrounding areas of West Africa. Such is the case for Assinie. Only 80 km from the capital of Abidjan, on the edge of the Gulf of Guinea, Assinie is one of Côte d’Ivoire’s tourism jewels. The calm and splendour of nature give it a unique beauty. From fine sand beaches to luxury hotels and the homes of public and private celebrities in the country, parts of this city might remind you of Beverly Hills or Saint Tropez!

Price: 375 €
(Price includes: transport, lodging, meals and entrances fees).

The Tour will depart on Friday, 7 December, 2018 in the morning, returning Saturday, 8 December, 2018 at about 18:00 hrs.
