Liz Anderson has many years industry experience in, chemical, food, beverage, agriculture, pharmaceutical, packaging and supply chain. She consults on environmental, health & safety, risk, issues and chemical management including Risk & Impact Assessments, Authorizations, Audits, Training & GHS issues. Liz is Executive Director of the RPMASA, which she represents at the UN Committee of Experts for Transport of Dangerous Goods and for the GHS. She works closely with National Departments of Environment, Labour, Transport, Health and Agriculture for new legislation and regulations. Liz has organized, chaired and presented at various Conferences - National & International, as well as run Workshops and Training on topics such as Chemical Process Safety Management, Chemical Awareness & Emergency Response, Cleaner Production, Packaging & Transport Compliance, Environment, Waste & the GHS. 

 
Richard Brough

Richard Brough started his career in 1969 with the Merchant Navy, culminating in command level. After 20 years at sea, he came ashore and worked in various port and stevedoring management positions until 2004, when he established his own port and logistics consultancy. From 2008-2011 he also launched, ran and sold UK Port Services Ltd. As well as his board role, Richard provides ICHCA International’s Technical Advisor service and is deeply involved in the association’s work with various international agencies and regulatory bodies.

Quade Corder

Quade Corder started his career as a Teacher and in Human Resources. When he joined CHEP, a global materials handling company he changed focus to Quality Systems and Six Sigma, then extended this to encompass Safety, Health, Risk and Sustainability as he moved from Human Resources, to Regional Operations Safety and Quality Management. Sustainability was added to his portfolio in 2012 when as part of the Global nature of the business, he was promoted to represent Middle East Africa in globally represented CHEP Councils within the Quality, Safety and Sustainability fields. Quade is Vice Chairman of RPMASA and a past Chairman, he also sits on a number of other Non – profit Association Boards in the Forestry Industry SETA, Use – It EThekwini waste recovery and beneficiation Cluster, and the Institute of Waste Management. 

 
Eddie Fourie

Eddie Fourie holds a B. Eng Degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from UP. He started his career as an analyst with exposure to logistics management systems and grew into a business analyst at Siemens Telecommunications (Pty) Ltd. Joining TrenStar in 2004, he progressed from Project Manager to Command Centre Manager and today is General Manager: Services, overseeing the company's Call Centre, IT Support Desk and Command Centre departments. 

 
John Gawler

In conjunction with his position at Kansai Plascon, John Gawler serves as the chairman of the board of RPMASA. Its main objective is to ensure that Southern African businesses become compliant with the various packaging and labelling standards as set out in the various proclamations and legislation.

David Tozer

David Tozer is the container ship segment manager at Lloyd’s Register, where he has worked for 30 years. He has a Master’s Degree in naval architecture. His achievements include supporting the development of the innovative Ultra Large Container Ship (ULCS) concept, contributing to the introduction of a new generation of container ships with greatly improved fuel efficiency, profitability and environmental performance. Through his three decades with Lloyd’s Register he has been involved principally with container shipping, during a time of great change and development for the sector. His areas of activity have covered research and development, numerical analysis, design appraisal, concept development and technical marketing. He is a member of ICHCA’s International Safety Panel (ISP). He has recently been focusing on the implementation challenges of MSC Circular 1352 which aims to improve the safety of container securing operations. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Chris Welsh

Chris Welsh was appointed Secretary General of the Global Shippers’ Forum in 2011 after serving as Secretary General of the European Shippers’ Council (ESC) from 1997-2002 where he played a prominent role in deregulating EU shipping and air cargo markets. Chris has held a variety of senior management roles for the UK Freight Transport Association, most notably establishing the FTA’s operations in Brussels and Ireland. Chris holds an MBA and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CMILT) and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (MCMI).
