Liz Anderson Executive Director Responsible Packing Management Association of Southern Africa (RPMASA) Liz Anderson has many years industry experience in, chemical, food, beverage, agriculture, pharmaceutical, packaging and supply chain. She consults on environmental, health & safety, risk, issues and chemical management including Risk & Impact Assessments, Authorizations, Audits, Training & GHS issues. Liz is Executive Director of the RPMASA, which she represents at the UN Committee of Experts for Transport of Dangerous Goods and for the GHS. She works closely with National Departments of Environment, Labour, Transport, Health and Agriculture for new legislation and regulations. Liz has organized, chaired and presented at various Conferences - National & International, as well as run Workshops and Training on topics such as Chemical Process Safety Management, Chemical Awareness & Emergency Response, Cleaner Production, Packaging & Transport Compliance, Environment, Waste & the GHS. | |
Richard Brough Director Brough Marine Ltd Richard Brough started his career in 1969 with the Merchant Navy, culminating in command level. After 20 years at sea, he came ashore and worked in various port and stevedoring management positions until 2004, when he established his own port and logistics consultancy. From 2008-2011 he also launched, ran and sold UK Port Services Ltd. As well as his board role, Richard provides ICHCA International’s Technical Advisor service and is deeply involved in the association’s work with various international agencies and regulatory bodies. | |

David Tozer Global Manager Container Ships Lloyd's Register Group Limited David Tozer is the container ship segment manager at Lloyd’s Register, where he has worked for 30 years. He has a Master’s Degree in naval architecture. His achievements include supporting the development of the innovative Ultra Large Container Ship (ULCS) concept, contributing to the introduction of a new generation of container ships with greatly improved fuel efficiency, profitability and environmental performance. Through his three decades with Lloyd’s Register he has been involved principally with container shipping, during a time of great change and development for the sector. His areas of activity have covered research and development, numerical analysis, design appraisal, concept development and technical marketing. He is a member of ICHCA’s International Safety Panel (ISP). He has recently been focusing on the implementation challenges of MSC Circular 1352 which aims to improve the safety of container securing operations.
