2018 FAST Business Excellence Conference
 
Information regarding travel

We have listened to your feedback and understand that you prefer the flexibility of booking your own flights, so this year we are again using the same process.

The conference takes place over three nights from Tuesday 14th August concluding at midnight on Thursday 16th August. Please arrive at Elements of Byron by 3pm on Tuesday 14th August with the welcome event starting later that night. Departure flights can be booked from anytime on Friday 17th August.

Please book your own flights for the dates that suit you and we will arrange for a payment to be made to your bank account to cover your travel costs:
  • $500 per qualifier if you're traveling from NSW, VIC and SA
  • $750 per qualifier if you're traveling from WA
  • $500 per qualifier if you're travelling from north of Maryborough, QLD only
This year we will also be arranging transfers from Gold Coast and Ballina airports to Elements of Byron. Transfers will be arranged for the most popular arrival times (i.e. mainly on Tuesday 14th and Friday 17th of August).

For all QLD delegates, you can either drive to Byron Bay or catch one of the transfers from either Gold Coast or Ballina airport.

So we can keep track of your travel plans, we will ask you to please provide us with the details of your booked flights when you register for the conference.


Reimbursements


Delegates who book and attend the conference will be reimbursed for flight costs in the next main commission run post the event. Reimbursements will only be made to qualifiers who have attended the actual conference. Any cancellations prior to the event will be an out of pocket expense and are not covered by FAST.


Travel insurance

It is your responsibility to organise your own travel insurance. Any costs incurred by you for travel insurance or other fees and charges which exceed the reimbursement amounts are out of pocket and are not covered by FAST.
