Here are a few helpful hints to make attending MDU as easy as possible.
Registration Inclusions
  • Four days of professional education training.
  • Single room accommodation for 4 nights (Friday 3 to Monday 7 August 2012).
  • Breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea are included for 4 days (Saturday – Monday) and dinner is included on Friday evening.
  • All session materials.
  • Flights
    Airfares are not included in the registration fee for MDU.

    Flights into Adelaide on Friday 3 August 2012 must arrive by 1:00 pm Central Standard Time.

    Return flights on Tuesday 7 August 2012 must be booked to depart Adelaide no earlier than 4:30 pm Central Standard Time.

    Transport (Airport to Venue)

    Our recommendations for transport between Adelaide Airport and Hilton Adelaide are as follows:

    Taxi

    Cost: Approx. $20 per vehicle

     

    Skylink Adelaide shuttle services

    Cost: $10 per passenger each way

    Travel time:

    Please allow 30min for travel time, which can also vary depending on other pick-ups, drop-offs and traffic conditions.

    Where to board the Skylink Airport Shuttle:

    Exit the terminal through the Valet Parking doors adjacent to the fourth baggage carousel on the ground floor.

    Capacity:

    All shuttle buses have a maximum capacity of 20 passengers so we strongly recommend that you contact them directly to book. A baggage trailer is attached to all shuttle buses for passenger use.

    Accommodation
    Your registration includes your accommodation for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights. Each student has a single room.
     
    Any additional night’s accommodation at the Hilton Adelaide is to be booked directly with the Hotel and is subject to availability.
    In-room charges
    Delegates are responsible for any in-room costs incurred (including mini bar and phone calls). A credit card will be required on check-in to cover these costs.
    Dress
    MDU delegates are advised to dress casually, comfortably and warmly. We suggest layered clothing as air conditioning may vary during the course of the day and the evenings are cool.
    Terms & Conditions of Attendance
    1. Limited places are available in all tracks. Enrolments will be considered in the order they are received.
    2. Payments for Early Bird delegates must be received no later than Friday 20 July 2012. If Early Bird fees have not been received by FIA by Friday 20 July 2012, Regular Rates apply.
    3. Registrations by EFT and cheque will not be processed until payment has been received. If payment is received after Friday 20 July 2012, Regular Rates will apply.
    4. Cancellations will only be accepted up to 30 working days prior to the event. Cancellations after this time will not be refunded. Cancellations must be received in writing explaining the reasons for the cancellation.
    5. No refund of registration will be made, unless a course or component of the course is cancelled or withdrawn or an application is not accepted for a particular track.
    6. Refunds will be made less a 20% administration fee.
    7. FIA does not accept responsibilities for any costs, charges or fines incurred by delegates in the process of attending MDU 2012.
    8. For booking flights please refer to the time guidelines set out on under the section 'Flights' at the top of this page. FIA does not accept responsibilities for any costs, charges or fines incurred by delegates who miss their flights.
    9. FIA reserves the rights to alter any of the arrangements for the course as published, either before or during the course and to cancel or terminate the course, or to refuse an enrolment as permitted by law.
