PRACTICAL INFORMATION
1. Getting to the Casa 400 Hotel:
Get off the train at the Centraal Station and change to the metro. Take the metro from the Centraal Station to Amstel Station (direct approximately 7 minutes). The Casa 400 Hotel is approximately 5 minutes walk from the Amstel Station. See map below.

2. Travel to Amsterdam
There are many low cost flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The Thalys train company also runs high speed trains via Brussels from Paris and Köln.
The Eurostar train company runs high speed trains from London to Brussels with a connection in Brussels to Amsterdam.

Enjoy dinner in a unique location surrounded by the greenery of the beautiful Amstel park.
It is also possible to take bus 62 from the Amstel train station. This bus drives past the RAI station and stops just before Weerdestein Rosarium.
The Rosarium is located along the ring road of Amsterdam, near the southern axis and the RAI Conference Centre. There are always parking spaces in the evenings and at weekends for those travelling by car. Parking is free.
The Rosarium has adapted facilities to welcome wheelchair users.
2. Farewell Cocktail
The Farewell cocktail (including finger food) will take place on Saturday, 14 May from 6pm to 7pm at the Hotel Casa 400. The Farewell cocktail will bring the Membership Meeting to a convivial close.
3. Amsterdam City Canal Cruise
We are pleased to invite all participants of the EURORDIS Membership Meeting on a Canal Cruise with the Blue Boat Company to visit the beautiful city of Amsterdam.
A canal cruise is an absolute must if you are visiting Amsterdam. Step aboard our privately rented boat reserved for EURORDIS Membership Meeting participants before embarking on a cruise of the Amsterdam canals. Admire the beautiful traditional merchant houses, the numerous bridges, the typical houseboats and experience the unique vibe of Amsterdam.
The boat boasts an extensive audio system which will inform you about all the interesting, beautiful and funny landmarks. This information is available in no less than 13 languages. English and Dutch are standard, other languages are on request.
The vessel is wheelchair friendly, equipped with a wheelchair lift which allows you to board without leaving your wheelchair. The on-board toilets are not adapted for wheelchair users.
In summer the glass roof can be opened!
