NAHREP’s role in advocacy means engaging lawmakers to be proactive in creating policies that are business-friendly to NAHREPâ and promote and enable sustainable Latino homeownership. NAHREPâ utilizes annual hill visits to discuss emerging issues and inform and educate legislators on issues that are important to the Latino real estate community. Hill visits are an important way for members to interact with elected officials, government agencies, and each other as we seek to increase sustainable Latino homeownership. It is also the time to seek out policies that will help members of NAHREPâ facilitate a growing number of Hispanic families to live the “American Dream” in a successful and sustainable way.
We personally invite you to get involved with our annual Capitol Hill visit to collectively raise our voices and fight until elected officials are mobilized and committed to our vision of increasing sustainable Latino homeownership. It is now, that we shall be heard!
