INS 2018 Presentation Guidelines


POWERPOINT PRESENTATION
Please submit your presentation in PowerPoint format. INS will preload all presentations on a laptop, but we do encourage you to bring a backup copy along with any media files on a flash drive. If you have speaker notes, print out a copy and carry it with you. Please use the PowerPoint template provided below. Submit your PowerPoint Presentation to Jill Cavanaugh, Conference Coordinator, by April 6, 2018.

Presentations must include the slides:
  1. Introduction: include your name and the date of the presentation
  2. Conflict of Interest Disclosure: "No conflict of interest exists" OR Your name, name of commercial interest, and nature of the relationship
  3. References: format using AMA Manual of Style, 10th edition


                     

MULTIMEDIA FILES
If you include any multimedia files in your presentation, please save those files separately in the link provided below, even if you've embedded the file into the presentation. Include your last name in the name of every file used for your presentation. Limit the file size of your PowerPoint to 20 megabytes (MB).




ANCC REQUIREMENTS
All content of your presentations must be reviewed by the INS Education Department. The content of your presentation will be reviewed as directed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to ensure "best available evidence is presented, the content is balanced, and the content is not promotional or biased." (1)
