How do I register to become a stallholder?

What is the process for my stall application?

Step 1: Read and agree to the Pasifikia stallholder Terms and Conditions

Step 2: Apply for a stall by completing an application form online.

Step 3: Our Pasifika team will review your online application.

Step 4: Our Pasifika team will contact you to accept your submission, or notify you if you have been place on our waitlist..

Step 5: Successful applicants will be notified via email.

Step 6: Successful applicants will confirm their acceptance to the stallholder coordinator by making payment within seven days of being notified, to secure their stall spot at the Pasifika Festival 2017.

Step 7: Attend a mandatory pre-festival meeting arranged by the stallholder coordinator where you will receive vital information and collect your stallholder pack.

Step 8: Set up your stall at Pasifika Festival 2017!


How do I dispose of my waste/ rubbish?

Stallholders are responsible for the removal of all rubbish from their site to the onsite bins provided throughout Western Springs Park.


How can I pack into my stall?

Vehicles entering the ground will be required to show their car access passes to security upon entering the grounds. For vehicle access to pack in your stall, please see your vehicle access sheet for your gate entrance and exit for your specific section/village/site. you can collect this information when you pick up your stallholder information pack, at one of the stallholder meetings.

Once security has checked your car access pass, they will direct you onto the site, and the closest route to your stall.

Items need to be unloaded next to your stand and then vehicles need to be moved from the site. (See site plan for village/site location, and local parking below for more information).

Important:

-       During pack in/out no gate entrances/exits must be blocked

-       No vehicles are allowed onsite at the festival between:

o   7.30am and 6.00pm on the Saturday 25th March

o   7.30am and 5.30pm on the Sunday 26th March

-       Strictly no parking on Great North Road during the festival weekend – tow away in place.


I want to book more than one stall. What is the process?

Those wishing to book more than one stall will be put on a waiting list for their additional stall. The application for the first stall will be considered as normal. Once it is closer to the festival, your applications for additional stalls will be considered. Your stallholder coordinator will be in contact with you at this time.

Is there a rain date?

No, the event will proceed regardless of the weather.

Can I smoke or drink onsite?

No, this is a smokefree family event. Smoking and alcohol are strictly forbidden, and this will be enforced during the festival.

What times will my stand be powered?

Stands will be powered constantly from 1pm Friday 24th March, until 5pm Sunday 25th March. Power will not operate outside these times. Power is to food stalls only


When can I set up my stall?

You can pack in between 12.00pm and 5.30pm on Friday 24th March, between 5.00am and 7.30am on Saturday 25th March, or between 5.00am and 7.30am on Sunday 26th March.

What is the process for setting up my stall, festival days, and packing out?

When do I need to remove the items in my stall?

If you have only booked your stall for Saturday, you MUST pack your stall out between 6.00pm and 8.00pm on Saturday 25th. Otherwise, two day stall holders and Sunday only stall holders must pack out between 6.00pm and 9.00pm on Sunday 26th March.


Where is Pasifika Festival held?

Pasifka Festival 2017 will be held at Western Springs Park located at 731 Great North Road, Western Springs, Auckland


Will I have power to my stall?

All food stall holders who request power on their application will have power to them. Power is to food stalls only - stalls will be supplied 1 x 20 amps of power. Please do not take another stalls power supply.

Please note that you will need to supply your own extension leads and multi-boxes/plugs.

For electrical safety, stalls are responsible for ensuring their power cords and electronic devices have been tested and tagged by a reputable company with electrical experience, according to the correct standard. No tag and testing procedures will be permitted during the event. Leads and electronic devices need to be tag and tested prior to arriving onsite for pack in.

Electricians will be checking extension leads and multi boxes/plugs prior to the opening of your stall. Note that vendors are unable to operate/open their stall until their power leads have has been checked by the onsite electrician.

Power supply will be available from 1pm Friday 24th until 5pm Sunday 26th March


Will security guard my possessions in my stall overnight?

Yes, we have overnight security roving onsite at all times, however we strongly recommend that precious items and small electrical goods are removed overnight.
