Acquiring donors is tough, expensive and time consuming. In the short term, we need to recover those costs. But we mustn’t just think short term: There is lots of potential for these caring South Australians to give you more. If you just let them.
This session is a bit of a journey. For fundraisers with any individual donors this session is useful.
We will talk about increasing value from events, monthly, direct mail and internet donors. With some very practical and immediate tips.
Then we will go into a bit more detail on the donors with the greatest potential: how to identify them and the techniques we can use to lift their gifts in the short to medium term.
Most of these techniques don’t require big investments in budget or staff, so useful for everyone.
Finally, we move onto the really big money: how to identify, nurture and confirm people as bequestors to your cause.
