NEOBIOTA 2018

The Aquainvad-ED Session

Management, Risk Control and Early Detection of Aquatic Invasive Species

3rd September, Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin, Ireland

Special session organised by Aquainvad-ED as part of the NEOBIOTA 2018 Conference

Recent research has shown that Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) are on the rise due to the synergistic effects of climate change and habitat destruction. The impacts of AIS on biodiversity, human health, and loss of ecosystem services (food, tourism and water provision) have long been known, but their control and management has now become a worldwide priority. In September 2018 we will take part in Neobiota 2018 where our special sessions will focus on these topics with 3 keynote talks delivered by World Leading Experts. Further details on their talks will be released shortly.
