This one-day workshop has been designed by Russell Investments as an introduction to investment for all new board members and trustees. It will be facilitated by Russell Investment's Andrew Johnson and Julian Darby.

Investment Level 1 will run from 9:30 - 5:30 on Thursday 13 October. It can be taken as a stand-alone module or as a two-day workshop in conjunction with Governance Level 1 which takes place the previous day (Wednesday 12 October):

Investment Level 1 will cover the following topics:

• The investment process
• Strategic asset allocation
• Traditional asset classes
• Related considerations
• Alternative asset classes

The cost to attend Investment Level 1 as a one-day workshop is $450 (Philanthropy New Zealand members) and $650 (non-members).

If you choose to also attend Governance Level 1, the cost is $675 (members) and $965 (non-members). Costs quoted exclude GST.

An optional dinner will take place at Logan Brown on the evening of Wednesday 12 October. Please let us know when you register if you would like to attend the dinner. The cost of dinner is $55 including GST for a set 3-course menu (excluding drinks).
