2015 Design & Construction Forum
The 'Aged Care Building Committee' in conjunction with ACS NSW & ACT and LASA NSW-ACT is hosting a one day forum on "Design and Construction" in Aged Care.
The forum focuses on the diversity of issues involved in Construction and Renovation from conception to delivery can be fraught with danger from the design parameters, communication with architects, cost analysis and variations. The expertise needed to undertake these responsibilities is often outside the parameters of Aged Care facilities, yet the cost of appointing a professional project manager, builder can often seem prohibitive.
The "Design and Construct" Forum is to look at the opportunities for Aged Care facilities and services to manage these projects in a professional manner. It will focus on designing for the future, the parameters for significant refurbishment, sprinklers and the importance of marketing and brand recognition.
