Bike Ride Waiver - Bring this signed form to the ride

Road Bike Ride

The road bike ride this year will tour the ridgeline along Horsetooth Reservoir. Riders will meet at the Embassy Suites lobby at 9:00 am to start.

We plan to ride west through Loveland, CO, and north past the trailhead for the Mountain Bike Ride before gaining the ridge along Horsetooth Reservoir. Heading back, we will catch many of the great bike trails through Fort Collins.

Bring your bike, helmet and other appropriate riding gear. Fill out the liability waiver (of course); we will provide maps of the route. The route has a couple stiff hills to navigate but overall will follow an easy line to bring us back to the hotel and The Boot Grill for lunch, which will be included with the registration fee.

Mountain Bike Ride

Update: Route has been changed to the Blue Sky and Indian Summer TrailsRoute Map Mountain bikers will meet at the Embassy Suites lobby at 9:00 am and carpool to the trailhead.

You need to supply your own bike, helmet, and water, and complete the liability waiver. Gloves, safety glasses, and other appropriate riding gear are highly recommended. Maps will be provided and the route can be previewed here (http://www.fcgov.com/naturalareas/pdf/nat-areas-map2014.pdf), with Coyote Ridge in the lower middle of the second page.

The ride will start on the Coyote Ridge Trail, transition to the Rimrock Trail, and then connect to the Blue Sky Trail where there are a few loop and out-and-back options. The ride can be as short at 7 miles or as long as 15+ miles, with a target time length of 2-3 hours including regrouping and breaks. The trails are intermediate by Colorado standards, however, you may feel more challenged depending on your ability level and elevation.

Lunch will be back by the hotel at The Boot Grill and is included with the registration fee.
