Tim Kelsey drives England's far-reaching changes to the NHS and its relationships with people and social services.

RESERVE YOUR SEAT
to hear Tim Kelsey's insights into England's radical new approach
as Australia considers its options
to better fund & integrate Health, Ageing and Disability care

NHS England recently released its Five Year Forward View that starts the move towards a different NHS, recognising challenges, outlining solution options and defining the framework to address the big questions facing health and care services.

Work has already begun with:

  • delivery of consumer access to online medical records in primary care
  • the first wave of Integrated Personal Commissioning that will provide around 10,000 people with complex needs with greater power to decide how their own combined health and social care budget is spent.
  • recent news that Greater Manchester will be the first English region to receive full control of its own health spend (GBP 6Bn) as part of an extension of devolved powers.

CHIK is delighted to be involved in Tim Kelsey’s visit to Sydney at such a pivotal time in NHS’ journey.

Tim Kelsey, the National Director for Patients and Information for NHS England and Chair of the National Information Board is a key driver of the significant reforms underway.

Tim led the development and release of Personalised Health and Care 2020 that describes NHS England’s move to deliver interoperability and comprehensive digital record keeping in frontline services by 2020, provide patients and citizens with access to NHS endorsed digital tools and apps, transform transparency of service outcomes and access to Big Data assets – and rapid development of genomic diagnostic services.

Attend this CHIK Connect Event to network with industry leaders as we share
