Nathan Smith
Channel Sales Manager
Jive

Nathan Smith is a 15-year technology sales professional based in Round Rock, TX. He has been fortunate to work at some tech giants, such as: Dell, Google, Oracle and most recently he was an enterprise account executive at a global VAR. Back in 2006, when he joined Google, he started to sense a change in the way people wanted to work together and he wanted to be part of that renaissance. When the opportunity came to join Jive, he jumped at the chance to join the leader in the rapidly expanding Social Enterprise space. For Nathan, the Social Enterprise renaissance is an opportunity to change the dynamic of how we work together, using collaborative technology. Thanks to Jive, and other leaders in the space, Social Enterprise is no longer a ‘wish list’ ‘nice-to-have’ of a leader’s vision for his or her organization. Social Enterprise is an ROI-backed, sustainable, and organizational development opportunity in which employees share, collaborate, communicate, and engage with each other to Work Better Together™. Back home, in Central Texas, Nathan is in the final semester of earning my Interdisciplinary Masters’ degree, specializing in Occupational, Workforce and Leadership Studies, from Texas State University. He is also excited to have his son heading off to college, at Texas State University, this fall.
