An award-winning journalist, Christopher Delporte has 14 years of reporting and journalism experience, with 10 years in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. In July 2006, he was named group editor for Medical Product Outsourcing and Orthopedic Design & Technology magazines published by Rodman Publishing in Ramsey, NJ.  Prior to heading the editorial departments for MPO and ODT, Delporte was director of communications and member relations for the Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA), a Washington, DC-based industry trade and advocacy group. Before leading MDMA’s communications activities, he served as Washington Editor for Medical Device Daily by Thomson/BioWorld, where he covered Capitol Hill and a variety of legislative, regulatory and general healthcare issues impacting the medical technology sector.

Mark joined Rodman in 2003 when Medical Product Outsourcing launched.  He has a breadth of experience in B2B media publishing and sales dating back to 1988 when he began his career. Over the years, Mark has developed a keen understanding of the complexities that manufacturers face in expressing an accurate message to the right audience, particularly in the medical device and orthopedic markets. As a result, Mark has played an integral role in the launch of several new media products to execute results in all channels of business communication.  Mark brings a proven record of performance to a group of likewise professionals who love their work.

Mary Adams, CMP
Event Consulting Group

Mary has over 10 years’ experience in the conference, meeting planning and events business. Prior to launching ECG, Mary worked for Merck & Co. as a sales representative in the cardiovascular, neuroscience and orthopedic markets. She came to Merck & Co. after helping to establish the Life Sciences Division of Worldwide Business Research, a conference company in New York City. Mary produced conferences on the topics of drug discovery and online retail. Before moving to New York, Mary worked in marketing with the president of an automotive engineering company in Cleveland, Ohio. While there, she produced one-on-one sales meetings, spearheaded the company’s brand identity campaign and managed all marketing and sales support initiatives. Mary graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She earned her Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University in New York City. In conjunction with her MBA, Mary graduated from business school with the honors of Beta Gamma Gamma Sigma, American Marketing Association and Phi Kappa Phi.
