SWF International Conference

Greetings From Karen Ball

Welcome

We are so happy you chose to come and participate with us this weekend. We know it will be a memorable moment in time whether you are a returning conference attendee or it is your first time. The Sturge-Weber Foundation certainly has evolved and grown since the idea for it was just a lil spark of hope I had while driving Kaelin when she was 3 months old to her neurologist appointment.

Today thanks to many dedicated volunteers we have a robust network of patients who are engaged and ready to ramp up research studies and welcome even more volunteers... the more the merrier! The recent SWF International Research Network (SWFIRN) meeting in Atlanta set bold initiatives which will propel our understanding of Sturge-Weber syndrome and drive impactful change.

Let's all take off our coat of armor that carries us through our day and relax as we cherish the "family reunion" we'll have this weekend. We can't wait to catch up on your news and tell you our exciting news as well!
