An experienced Solicitor Advocate, John deals with a range of commercial litigation and has particular expertise in intellectual property and IT matters. John has rights of audience before the Scottish and English courts, and appears regularly before the Court of Session and the Scottish Appeal Court. He is one of the few Solicitor Advocates to have appeared before the General Court of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Old enough to remember when email was a novelty, but young enough to communicate with his kids by Snapchat, John has long had a fascination with the use by lawyers of emerging technologies.

Sara has been working in-house for over 13 years in pure legal, compliance, risk and governance roles in financial services. She is Vice Convenor of the In-house Lawyers' Committee of the Law Society of Scotland and a Member of the Society's Audit Committee. She's a keen blogger and social media user for business and pleasure.
