Conference hotel

Our conference hotel is the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Tower of London, which is located in the heart of the City of London, one of the world’s major financial hubs. Situated only 150 metres from Tower Hill Underground Station the hotel is just a five-minute walk from the iconic Gherkin, the Tower of London , Tower Bridge and other famous sights associated with The City. This contemporary hotel is an ideal location from which to explore all that London has to offer.

A wide variety of galleries, museums, restaurants, bars and theatres are in walking distance from the hotel including the Barbican and Globe Theatres; the Whitechapel Art Gallery; and St Paul’s Cathedral. At the very heart of London, you can also find the area of Westminster and the famous Houses of Parliament, a mere 15 minute tube journey from Tower Hill station (one minute walk from the hotel). Conference venue The Conference, pre-Conference meetings and parallel sessions will take place on the first floor of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Tower of London. 

Conference registration will also take place on the same floor in the Gallery Balcony Foyer.

Hotel accommodation and facilities 

ICMIF has negotiated a very competitive rate at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel – Tower of London with breakfast; wireless internet; and use of iMac PC/TV Entertainment System with Skype in the bedrooms included in the rate. All of the stylish guest rooms offer contemporary décor with opening windows, complimentary mineral water, WiFi, a modern iMac entertainment system; and walk in power shower. Other facilities at the hotel include a 24-hour fitness centre and the City Cafe restaurant, the SkyLounge and the Lobby bar where you can find healthy options form the “Gourmet to Go” fridge. 

An extensive breakfast is served in the City Café restaurant featuring hot and cold buffet made with fresh seasonal produce. The outdoor terraces of the rooftop SkyLounge on the twelfth floor offer fantastic views of London’s skyline. Check in time is 15.00 and check out time is 12.00. All guests arriving before 15.00 will be accommodated as soon as rooms become available. 

Self parking is available at a cost of GBP 30.00 per day.

The room rate includes WiFi internet and breakfast but does not include VAT (which is 20%). 

The bedroom price is per room per night. Please note that delegates are kindly requested to book their own accommodation directly with the hotel and in order to ensure that you receive ICMIF’s special negotiated room rates, please use this link.

Cancellation policy 

Rooms may be cancelled free of charge up to 28 days prior to arrival. Any cancellations made within 28 days of arrival will be subject to a 90% cancellation fee. No show reservations will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. 

Alternative hotels 

It is essential for all delegates to register their attendance for the conference as soon as possible and also for delegates to book their accommodation at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel – Tower of London as soon as possible as bedroom availability is limited. If our bedroom allocation is exceeded, we can recommend comparable accommodation at alternative nearby city centre hotels in London. 

For delegates with smaller budgets, we can also recommend lower cost hotels close to the conference venue.
